A Promise to Give Back
Every night in the United States more than 500,000 people have no home and hundreds of thousands more are in massive need of clothing + footwear. Yet, as the wealthiest nation in the world, so millions of people have more footwear and clothing than we could ever reasonable need or use. The mission of 141 Initiative is to turn our excess into impact.
Our ask is simple:
Look in your closet and define a volume of sneakers and clothes that you need. How much is up to you, we’re not here to judge. But set the limit.
Sign the pledge here at 141 Initiative and make a promise that as you acquire more NEW things, that you’ll start giving OLD items to charity. One new pair of Jordan’s come in… you promise to donate an old pair of sneakers to charity.
As you get acquire new goods to take the time to pick your own charity to donate the old goods to.
You post your 1 for 1 donation on social and tag @141initiative (you can do this quarterly, annually or as often as you like).
